Mercules loves lisboa

We were really looking forward to visiting Lisbon for the first time and, above all, to meeting our Portuguese community in person. We wanted to understand how the brand was experienced there, get to know the people who have been following us for a long time, and spend a few special days away from our usual surroundings. The response couldn’t have been better.

For three days, we set up shop at Disco Wheel, a beautiful pottery studio located in the heart of the city. Amidst terracotta tones, organic materials and plenty of light, our bags blended in with the studio’s handmade pieces, creating a beautiful interplay of textures, shapes and colours.

More than just a pop-up shop, we wanted it to be a place where people would want to linger, step inside at their own pace and discover the world of Mercules from a more intimate and everyday perspective.

Thursday brought one of the most special moments of the trip, with the event we organised together with female creators, friends of the brand and members of our local community.

It was a relaxed afternoon spent out on the high street, designed simply for enjoyment.
We had a bite to eat, toasted with some rosé, tried a spectacular chocolate dessert and chatted at our leisure.

There were reunions, laughter and that special energy that arises when a community comes together in one place.
To round off the experience, we wanted to include a local partnership as well, so we teamed up with Dallas Burger.

Every purchase included a full meal and an exclusive gift from Mercules – a small token of our appreciation for all the warmth and kindness we received during those days.
We’re returning from Lisbon feeling happy and inspired, and with the sense that we’ve truly connected with the city and with our community there. And seeing how warmly you’ve welcomed us, we’re absolutely certain that this has only been the first time.
